What is offsetting?
Offsetting is a way to compensate for the carbon you emit, by investing in projects that reduce carbon. Companies do it all the time, and now you can do it too.
Additional to your other carbon-reducing activities, you can reduce your footprint even further with offsetting, and counter-balance some of the activities that you can’t cut out.

2) Hire and train local villagers to plant new trees.
3) Villagers plant native tree species.
We chose to support Eden Reforestation because reforestation is one of the most powerful ways of reducing the overall carbon in the atmosphere, and Eden have one of the most cost-effective ways of planting trees at scale.
The cost to plant one tree is around $0.10 – $0.35.
The cost to sequester or prevent 1kg of CO2 equivalents from entering the atmosphere with this project is $0.05 – $0.19
